Sreemongal Tour Package

Day1

Take the 7pm train from Dhaka and arrival at the city of’ two leaves & a bud; Sreemangal by 12pm. Upon arrival you will be received and check in to the guest house. After lunch visit the Lake of Lotus. On the way to the Lake for miles and miles around you can take pictures as much as you like of the Tea Gardens like a green carpet on the sloping hills. A visit to the Tea Plantation would be a memorable experience. The water of the Lake is very cool & refreshing and the presents of the hills make the surroundings gorgeous. The Lake is full of rare blue and pink Lotus. Will also make a walk at the hilly pineapple garden. Overnight at the hotel/guest house.

Day2

After breakfast hiking/trekking at the Tropical Rain Forest which is a reserved forest and conservation of wildlife. You’d love to hear the singing diversity of different species of birds. One can easily find out monkeys like pig tailed, capped languor, slow loris, gibbons etc. The largest family of gibbons living here and this forest is also called the home of the Holook Gibbon though one should be lucky enough to spot the gibbon. It’s very difficult to see the barking dears here but hearing them is always a great pleasure. After lunch visit a Khashia Tribal village to learn about their culture. After lunch visit the world famous 7 layer color tea cabin (The first inventor of color and layer tea in Bangladesh. You love to find here 2-3-4-5-6 & 7 layer color tea). Overnight at the hotel/guest house.

Day3

After breakfast visit a wetland called Hail Baikkabeel. Baikka beel is a bird sanctuary of this region. It is on the eastern part of the Hail haor. Hail haor is a large wetland encompassing about 100 hectares. Baikka beel was declared to be a sanctuary for fishes in 2003. The beautiful scenario stretching over miles creates an unbelievable feeling. This beel is the living place of numerous birds and fishes. From the time you enter the haor area you will be engrossed by the sweet chirping of various birds. Moorhans, marsh harriers, teals, ducks and many other birds are seen here. If you are a bird watcher you will be very delighted.There is a watchtower about 2 stories height to provide a better view of the landscape. The beel area isn’t only beautiful because of these birds but also for the beautiful lilies, lotus and many other unknown aquatic flowers and plants. While riding a boat you will find yourself surrounded by large leafy lilies. Much of the water is usually covered with the flowers in their blooming season. Afternoon visit a pottery village to learn about pottery activities and make pottery by yourself(super fun).

At the end take 5pm train/bus to Dhaka. It will arrive by 10.30pm in Dhaka.
